Rocket launchers installed!

We had a rare slow day today so I grabbed the Eagle and backed it in the shop for a little maintenance. We have always had a black tank odor and wanted to try the Cyclone vents, so this was the day. What a chore getting all the goo off the old vents and roof! Both gray tanks went smooth but when we got to the black tank there was no vent pipe! It was below the roof about 12 inches, so I got in the closet it goes thru & pushed it up so my mechanic could attach it to the cyclone vent. I'll bet the smell goes away now. My mechanic is still chuckling about the mini rocket launchers on my roof!

lol...that should solve the problem! Amazing how the little quality control misses in the factory have such a major impact on your enjoyment of the product!

It makes me wonder. I only have 2 vents on my roof. I don't have the smell though.

We have 2 gray tanks because the kitchen is almost to the rear & the bathroom is almost to the front. The odor is gone already, the Cyclones worked!

My 5th W. also has 2 gray tanks even though the kitchen and bath is almost back to back. But I still only have 2 vents on the roof. Maybe the 2 gray tank share the same vent.

It is nice to get rid of an odor like that. Sounds like Amish craftsmanship at it's finest.

Had Cyclones on our first trailer and when we got the Jayco was one of the first things we put on. Well worth the money and trouble to put them on.
