100-200 a year here depending on how close to the city it is.. all are uncovered grassy lots.. Inside storage starts at 100/month and you have to remove the propane tanks first. (fire law)

I pay $50/month for outside storage at an old Nike missile site in the middle of nowhere. There is a security "guard" living on site but not a lot of lighting in the premises.

65.00/month for a 30' outdoor space in a secure, 24/7 access lot by my house. For the winter, I store it indoors November through April at $10 per linear foot ($240 total) for the entire period at a local county fairground.

$60 a month. My dealer's lot. They use it for temp. storage and prep of new incoming units, holding of units in for repair, and also has their second shop for repairing units. So many people around business hours. Fenced with alarms for off hours. They will pull the unit out for me in the dead of winter, and put it in the shop to melt snow/ice off before I come to get it, at no charge. Of course, complete repair facility available if I need anything done.
Only bad side is "no reservations" - so if someone else wants storage while I have mine out, I could come back to a situation of "no more room at the inn".

I guess we are really lucky here is Northwest Phoenix where Del Webb donated a huge property just for RVs. We pay $120/YEAR! for our 30' HTT. It is 24-hour security and pretty tough to even get in to just register your RV. We love it, as do about 1,000 other RVs.

We bought 10 wooded acres with a pond for a trailer setup. With a driveway installed and a site leveled it cost about $5000. Over the 27 years we have been there that comes to about $15 a month amortized. My current taxes are about $40 a month. Based on current property values, and 27 years growth on the hardwoods, my property is now worth about $35,000.

When I hear prices for storage and campground fees, I just cringe.

I guess I have it pretty good. I have a storage garage at a secure rental storage lot. They let their customers that already have a locked storage unit to park an RV for $1.50 per day. The best part is that I only pay for the days that it is stored. During the summer months, the RV is always at home for at least a week each month, so I don't have to pay for those days. We are on the honor system. We just pay for it at the end of month when paying for storage unit.

Sure is nice to live out in the country. I put in my own 30 amp service and water. Did not realize how much money I am saving in the long haul. I had the same thing on a couple acres outside Tampa, Fl. but now am in the backwoods of Georgia. Need to put up the pole barn next!

I used to store it in a field with security fence for $25 a month, but moved to a covered, secured location for $90 a month.

I too have struggled with theft and damage. Worth every penny to find a secure location.

We pay $100 per month for indoor, heated storage through the winter months. The owner of the place puts the RVs to bed at the end of October, and pulls them back out in the beginning of April. He can only accommodate a limited number of RVs, so as a general rule they can't be taken out early unless the weather is unusually beautiful and camp season starts early, because he arranges them so that he can maximize space in his machine shed. Each month he charges the batteries and airs up the tires if they need it. It's nice because we don't need to worry about anything; the facility is on his property and he is in his shop every day checking on the RVs.

From April-October the RV sits on our property in the driveway.

In Central Florida from Nov - May we store our Greyhawk in a local Public Storage facility on a gravel/dirt uncovered pad for $40/mo. The facility is fenced, gated, and has a live-in person on site. Unlimited access to the unit.
The other months we store in on a pad next to our garage in Indiana, 30 amp service, for free.

Here in central Ohio, we pay $35/month for outside storage about 1/4 mile from our house. Facility is fenced and locked, with 24 hour access to renters. We were fortunate to get a spot very close to the front of the property, visible from the street and under spotlights.

Cheers!

I have to let my neighbor borrow my tow vehicle when his old car breaks down. But I get to store my TT in his driveway for free..

Wow!We live on our farm in NE Louisiana and we store our TT our 50x60 shop. We installed 30 and 50 amp service, then put in a dump station. I cannot imagine having to pay to store our TT. The price some of you pay for storage makes me cringe.

$186/mo covered concrete slab, $95/mo for an asphalt space outside in the elements. Place is 12 mi. from home which makes it a bit aggravating for trip prep, but can't keep it at the stick n' brick.

Excellent security access code gate that locks down at 11pm, multiple monitored video cams, 8' barb wired topped fence, perimeter infrared motion detection inside the fence. And the property is bounded on 3 sides by swamp/retention pond that contains some of them guard moccasins and sentry gators. I like it!
