Rarely missed an Andy Griffith show when they were current. DW and I like to watch Matlock - much better than Perry Mason. Andy - you are missed very much already.

A man we all wanted to be like, a friend we all wanted to have, in a place we all wanted to live. He will be missed.

I, like many of you, was around for the first episode of the Andy Griffith Show. We were first introduced to Andy and Mayberry on a episode of the "Make Room for Daddy" show (The Danny Thomas Show) when Danny was arrested for running a stop sign in Mayberry where there was "no road." That episode changed the world and gave us the BEST TV SHOW ever. I started recording TAGS back in the 80's and have most of the 249 episodes on VHS. I will watch them for hours. On nights when life prevents my sleep, I will plug in a tape and go to Mayberry where there are no worries and in short order I'm fast asleep. In the process, Ive learned so much about TAGS and the people of Mayberry. Barney's shoe size is 71/2 B. Some day I will load my Jayco and head to Mayberry. Thanks for letting me ramble. Like JFK and Elvis, I will never forget where I was at when I learned of AG's death.

Just wondering, What was your favorite Andy Taylor moment, or episode?

Shorty
