Guess im the only crazy one but YES I use plug in's and where there isnt a plug i use the cone thing with they jelly in it. All works fine. Every once and while you need to wipe down the plug in and the outlet. When i store it i dont use anything.

Thanks Jaycone ...do you use the ones with a light in them? I am thinking for night trips to the washroom when you don,t want to turn on any lights.

HILARIOUS!!

I use Citrus Magic which is a natural orange smell and available at Walmart. However, we rarely use the john for #2. :hihi:

IF you choose to use the potty that way, it is very important to use lots of water. If you don't, the "solids" don't get covered enough by water in the tank. At least, that's what dh said. We use the natural enzyme starters for the tank when we set up but I always toss one in each day. Perhaps I shouldn't?

The first time someone used our potty that way, it was one of our boys' friends and he didn't know better, nor did we. It DID smell when we flushed so dh investigated why. We have to use so much water in the black tanks that we can fill up pretty quickly. This does not make me happy. We needs to find a solar-powered waste destroyer.

Sorry for the potty talk!

Kim

We use our toilet every day as we are living in the trailer for about 9 months a year. We don't use any thing but plenty of water. There is never any odor from the toilet.
