Unhappy Selling before taking possession

How do I sell an RV I purchased but haven't taken possession of? It's a 15 Jayco Pinnacle FBTS that I purchased (with tons of extras) that's still on the dealer's lot.
Wife's in a wheelchair and can get around in the unit but NOT the truck.. should have bought a Class A.

Thanks for any advise... Normandee

Did you talk to the dealer about your situation he might be able to make a deal with you. Other options is to sell it through advertising and explain the options they have on the buying procedure. No matter what expected to loose some money. Sorry for the un-fortunate situation you're in.

Listed it on the classified section just now for 56K.
I'll be losing $$ esp since I bought the 2nd ac & warranty.
Her wheelchair doesn't fold & she's so tiny she couldn't get into the truck's we looked at.

Someone will get a bargain

What about a folding wheelchair? And power step bars maybe??? Be cheaper than the loss on the Pinnacle.

Just a thought.

Good luck, and hope all goes well!

If the extended warranty is not transferable, I would look into cancelling it.

If it is, it may be a selling point because the factory warranty is not transferable to the 2nd owner, I do not believe.

The folding wheel chair is a great idea. I have a brother-in-law who is an amputee at 350+ He wheels to the truck stands back to the seat and pulls himself in using the door and door frame, fold the chair and put in rear seat. If she's that small could you lift her in?

Thanks for trying, no one to blame but ourselves for the single most irresponsible decision of our lives. My disease requires a specialized wheelchair, no folding chair will do. Went to our home's RV club mtng last night, they discouraged it as well.

We haven't taken possession yet: we will talk to dealer about consign or maybe one of those "we buy rv's" ad's.? We are prepared to lose 10-15K with ever driving it iff the lot- is that a fair amount to expect?

BTW, we live in Tampa, the road to Disney where RV sales centers are everywhere.

I'm not sure your comfort level with your dealer, but make sure they don't prey on you and take advantage of the unfortunate position your in. Use NADA, EBay, RV trader and the like to get a good idea on what you can realisticly expect to get for it. If there is anyway you can hold out to Spring, that could do well to reduce the loss. I would like to think that if your still in the market for an RV that the dealer would be willing to inflict the least amount of financial damage they can in order to get you into that new A class. Whatever happens, I wish you well.
