One good thing I like about the RhinoFlex is if you develop a leak somewhere in the vicinity of either end, you can "unlock it", unscrew it, cut it and reconnect it. Of course, the hose would be a little shorter though.

I got the dominator because it was 15' for taking camping and had a10' extension hose that I connect together and I can dump my trailer at home if I need to.

These polls can really be a useful resource in seeing what folks are actually using out there in the real world. Folks new to the RV world can get an idea of what to buy based on the polls and product reviews.

On our first 5er I got the occasional drip on the discharge connection for the Rhinoflex. Upon close inspection there seemed to be an irregularity on the RV side of the fitting. So I hard faced it with epoxy and reformed it with a file and it solved the issue.

My list of things we'll need keeps getting refined thanks to these polls. Thanks all for being willing to share.

Used Rino for 3 years and worked well. Recently changed to BlueLine so I can fit hose in TT tube.

Staying at Bayou Segrette LA. during golf tournament week several years ago a new Prevost bus pulled in, opened the bay doors and pulled out all the free hose that came with the bus. They threw it all in the trash dumpster. They are using Rino. Well I'm using FREE!

Switched to the Rino last year well built hose. The cons are I have the same little drip sometimes at the connection and it hard to fit in the storage compartment that is made for it.

Upon someone`s suggestion on this forum, I took a rotary tool and trimmed off the "ears" on the end of the Rhino hose and it now fits in the bumper if you turn the end the right way.

The part I trimmed are the tabs on the large orange fitting that serve no purpose other then a way to get a better grip, I suppose.

I'm not sure why a lot of you are "trimming" your RhinoFlex hoses. The connections rotate and when lined up, they fit nicely into a 4in. square bumper. It's just a quick turn to line em up.

Thought I'd update this....
We took possession of our new '13 351 RLTS a couple of weeks ago and needed to move to a different spot at the storage lot due to the length (It's a beast!). We're now "pretty close" to the lot's dump station. I already had two 10' Sewer Solution discharge hoses and adding a 3rd (30' total) allows me to dump my tanks from my storage spot. I can also reach the fresh water by adding a second 25' drinking water hose. I doubt that a slinky would work over a distance of almost 30' (unless the run was downhill). With the SS it's no problem.

Rhino flex

Fits in the bumper with both ends sealed. It's snug. But I lost a cap and the blue stock one slid out. The rhino being tight stayed in.

You probably did. When the forum was upgraded, all polls are showing that you have to click on the "view results" which implies you did not vote, but you may have .
