Shower Faucet

The standard faucet placement is the cold knob on the right side and hot knob on the left, however, in my camper shower, the hot knob is on the right and cold knob on the left. Is it supposed to be that way or was it incorrectly installed from the factory? Thanks in advance.

It sounds like they hooked it up backwards.

Simple fix reach under the sink and undo the 2 supply lines and swap them.. someone just got them reversed.

So the supply lines to the shower should be under my sink? Did I take that the right way?

Behind the shower wall, which hopefully can be accessed via a removable panel. If not you'll have to cut one, which we've done many times.

If your unit is under warranty, I would let Jayco fix it before I cut a wall.

I install access panels anywhere there aren't any. Fortunately in our newest one they have them. Can you inspect for leaks at connections without a panel? Nope. Just speaking from a lot of experience. Run the risk of water damage without, or get some Oatey panels at Lowes and make life easier.

Just switch the knobs

Sorry, couldn't help myself.
Totally agree with BigJohn. I've had to create access panels in a couple houses. No different in a TT.

Hey, I agree with Doug if you want the really easy fix. If you don't mind the bass ackwards knobs that's an easy fix. I like the humor Doug. I've actually known a few to do just that in this same situation.

If you can locate the other end of the hot and cold lines and if there within reach it can be an easy fix.

Sorry that was for the sink... did not catch the shower ... that is just behind the panel and also fairly easy to swap
