Sidemarker + clearance light to LED bulb conversion

On our new 2016 White Hawk 24RKS we changed the side marker + clearance lights as well to LED bulbs, it went without a snafu. A week ago we had changed over the taillights with an update kit from Jayco's OEM light supplier for only $42 plus shipping. The LED bulbs for the side marker + clearance lights we got from Amazon at $ 17.29 for a pack of 20 bulbs. Our trailer is now easily being noticed at night on the highway. The lights turned out to be super bright! Details on our travel blog at:

Here is the link for the OEM taillight conversion from Command Electronic Inc. in Schoolcraft, MI.
K-0026: SURFACE MOUNT LED TAIL LIGHT UPGRADE KITS — Command Electronics

Most trailer owners with basic electric knowledge can easily do this changeover.

The changeover of the clearance light requires experienced use of a bench grinder when modifying the LED bulb socket. You could loose more than your fingernails. But here is the Amazon link.

Maybe read our write-up about the changeover in our travel blog below:
