Sleep Number

Since we fulltime in our Pinnacle we are looking for a better nights sleep.

We are looking at the Sleep Number RV King bed, sure is a lot of money if we do not like it.

Also looking at other options but like the ability to adjust the bed and I guess since it is a air bed, no lumps !!!!

Thoughts, Comments ?

They make some air mattresses with a built in pump. You can fill it to your liking, just no number :-)
We used one in our PU and put a 2" memory foam topper. Slept good.
or
You can just keep a bottle of Makers Mark onboard lol

Best regards,
Doug

Re: Sleep Number

We have a Pinnacle, with the sleep number bed. We LOVE it. And many write and I use different numbers.

Rob, I bought a Sleep Number in January 2012 to replace the original mattress. Not only is it lighter than the original, it sleeps great. Your bed won't stay raised up if you have anything on it due to the lighter weight. Normal sleets, blankets don't cause a problem, but nothing much else. The Sleep Number does make it easier to lift the bed for access to the storage underneath.

I would definitely not hesitate to do it again. I got mine from CW since they are the only source, or were last year anyway for the RV king. I got the one with the radius corners.

I just looked at Sleep numbers website and they do not show a king size in any RV styles. I DID find that you have a thirty day trial period where if you don't like it they will either refund your money minus shipping or exchange the bed. We have had one in our home for many years and both my wife and I think they are ok. We both still wake up pretty sore. We bought one of the upper tier models at the time. You may want to ask Campers World about the 30 day trial. And CW prices are cheaper than Sleep Numbers website, they are having a sale on them NOW. We have an king sized with the adjustable base and we LOVE that.

The RV King with radius corners is only available from CW. Sleep Number didn't used to even list it on their web site. Not sure if they do now or not.

I won't speak for Ed, but IMO these are the best hours of the day. Once society starts stiring, things get confusing.

I agree, I am a early riser too, just messing with Ed.

I am getting a few things done early before DW wakes up, we are leaving Milton Fla this morning heading to Atlanta Ga for a few weeks

I wish we were. Maybe not Atlanta, but somewhere. The extended forecast in Cincinnati in a word is "crappy".

It is cold here for the South, I think the Ground Hog was wrong, no early spring here, lol

Have to go to Atlanta for work, we make the best of it, we are staying at Stone Mountian Park, which is pretty nice for a big city park.

After Atlanta it looks like St Simmons Island / Brunswick Ga area.

We gpt a short queen from CW to replace the thin mattress in our 26BH. Have used it only 10 nights and it is much better than the stock
mattress. Your Pinnacle should have a more upscale mattress than the Jay Flight. Maybe a topper would get the job done for a lot less money.

Its one-two-three OUT here...

never had any problems sleeping in the trailers... I sleep standing up pretty good as well...

We have the standard mattress with a three-inch memory foam topper on it.
