Cool Slide seal

Greetings: I just purchased a 24RBS and am about to use it for the first time. WooHoo. But i have a slide question. When the slide is extended the exterior slide seal lies straight/flat against the slide on the front wall. On the rear wall it twists from straight/flat to curled under (U shape). When I take the twist out to make it go flat it returns with a twist the next time it cycles in and out. Which way is the seal supposed to lay? Any suggestions? Thanks in advance for your help.

I usually use my awning pull strap rod to pull the slide gaskets out so they lie against the slideout itselft. I think they seal better this way. I find that there is no consistency in how the seal lies after each trip and pull them out to what I believe to be the correct position each time out.

Put some talc/baby powder in an old sock. Tap onto the seals. Helps "lube" them so they flip into position easier.
