Slide Toppers installed on a Jayco TT at the factory

We have an 2017 Eagle 330RSTS TT on order and one of the first mods I planned on doing was to add slide toppers to the unit. From all initial research, it appeared it was going to cost around 1000.00 (or more) to have them installed after the trailer arrived. I know on a lot of the higher end 5er's, MH's etc., toppers are a factory option that is actually listed on the order sheet, but for the Jayco Eagle TT's, it is not.

But a week or so ago, I came across pictures of a 2017 330RSTS on a dealers website that already had toppers installed and they also showed a copy of that trailer's invoice from Jayco that listed them as installed at the factory for only 675.00!

So I called and sure enough, they are available as a "pink sheet" item. So I had them added to our order. For that price, it seemed too good of a deal to pass up. Even my salesman was surprised at the price and said that they couldn't come close to that.

Good deal....and you'll be glad you have them.

Safe travels.

We have an Eagle HT 27.5RLTS on order. We are having Jayco add 3 slide toppers, but our dealer told us $900.00 and wouldn't budge on the price. They claimed that was the factory price.

I don't think anyone wants to believe that their dealer would do such a thing as put a markup on a factory option, but in the case of a "pink list" item like the toppers, and the actual price not being posted on the website, I suppose it is possible.

Since I can't imagine that the slide outs on your Eagle HT are, if at all, bigger than they are on our Eagle 330RSTS TT, the higher cost is a little surprising to me as well.

Maybe the toppers on the HT 5er's are a different make/model than what they are putting on our Eagle TT, and that could be the cost difference?

I am just glad I found a copy of an actual Jayco invoice that clearly showed the pricing. That made it impossible for any temptations on my dealer's part, to even think about trying to price them differently.

Norty, was that the dealer invoice or Jayco invoice?

Blujay40, I definitely don't want to believe that, but have no way of knowing for sure, unfortunately. :/

Not sure. It has a Jayco logo and says, Manufacturer's suggested retail price. Also has the dealers name/address typed on it.

That's not what I payed for it though so it must be the dealer invoice.

The 2015 PINNACLE MSRP for 5 was $1,900. Those are the deluxe toppers with the metal enclosure.

I'm sure mine aren't going to be "deluxe".

That's what I thought, but then my pessimistic side comes out and wonders if these are factory seconds or some other stock that they just want to get rid of for whatever reason!!

No seconds or discontinued stuff. They are good. Same material as top of the line, without the vinyl cover. They will match the trailer with black hardware and black material. I bought these too when I ordered my 5th wheel at the same MSRP price. You will not regret it!
