Anyone know if this shade could be mounted horizontal - as in the shower sunlight? Maybe just use the inside mounting ring with the shade and not the window?

Don't remember, exactly, but less than $200.00 installed. We had some warranty work done and also had a regular stove and oven put in place of the stove top and drawers. We also had awnings put on all the windows, except the ones under the big awning on the passenger side.

We've worked the unit hard as we have now completed all 50 states. Currently on a 5000 mile trip through the northwest. Not all in this coach, but in our 45 years of marriage. Alaska was handled with a cruise and Hawaii was visited while our son and daughter in law were in the Marine Corps and stationed there.

How did you remove the trim from around the existing window without damaging it? Does the new window come with it's own trim pieces?

It comes with everything you need, including the window, trim (inside and outside), shade and screws.

Thank you for the reply but you did not state how you remove the existing window trim?

If your entry door window inner/outer frames snap together (no screws), refer to the following JOF thread for removal. You may need the plastic 'release tools'.

Hope this helps.

This is a great upgrade. Did this a few weeks after purchase of my unit. Wife & I have enjoyed it immensely. It’s an inexpensive upgrade that can be completed in an hour. The only negative is that the internal shade cannot be opened without opening the door & separating the screen door from the exterior door to access the shade. Still worth it!
