Soft Wood

I have a 2005 Jayco Jay Feather Ultra light, I have rotted wood on the floor in the right rear corner, how hard will it be to replace this wood? Is there any wires or anything else connected underneath to the wood? Does anyone know the thickness of the wood? Any information will be appreciated. Jim

on repairs like this, sometimes it is best to find out how extensive it is before buying a lot of material. Usually you can carefully remove the damaged area, then determine how to replace and restore it.

Look at the underside and don't make any deep or drastic cuts until you can see. Maybe cut or break out the worst area, then look with a light and mirror.
