I'm one of those with a SOB, so I may join you.

Happy for you crab on your new purchase, BTW, I saw your posts "over there" and didn't draw the connection, maybe it was because no avavtar? We also purchased a Coachmen (an Apex model). It has dual slides, large rear bath, kitchen island with walk-in pantry and an outside kitchen. All this with a UVW of only 5800 lbs. And like you, we bought from a local dealer. We tried hard looking at Jayco, but this unit fit our needs better. Now having said all of this guess what I did today? I was at the dealer today getting some prices on a slide topper and I couldn't resist the temptation of looking at what the dealer had on the showroom floor. I didn't tell the DW.

I still read this forum everyday as this is probably the friendliest RV site out there.

I will help you irratate Crabman. Being an engineer and having a bit of military in my past, I am a rule and regulation follower, and therefore being on the Jayco Owners Forum doesn't that mean that we should OWN a Jayco?

From the forum rules ''This is a community of individuals who share a common interest in Jayco products and camping. '' I am still interested in their products. In your face, namby.

Congrats on your new TT.

I am not saying that the "Crabman" gets the most use out of his camping gear, but if you are interested in purchasing his old camper contact him. A picture of it is below.... should be able to get it for a good price. I can not understand why they did not want to take it in trade?

Sad to see another 28BHS leave the site but glad you're sticking around. Bunks are an absolute must for us right now but maybe next trailer will be more of an open concept entertainer layout.

Have you already given the 28BHS up? Or are those nice new Maxxis tires still kickin' around...?

I traded it in, got a fair price. It will make someone a nice camper. They had it listed for sale and in two weeks they took it down so I assume it sold that fast. In their description was '' Very clean for its age'' and it was....

Crabman,

Sorry to be so late in extending my congratulations, but I just found this thread. CONGRATULATIONS ON THE NEW CATALINA! That is one sweet-looking rig!

Not that I'm in the market for a new one (my Eagle's still almost new, and still fits me and my lifestyle perfectly), but if I were, I'd probably go with S.O.B. as well. Jayco just doesn't have anything I like under 40'. And I just can't see myself pulling a 40' house behind me.

So glad you're staying on The Forum, though. You have been such a help to me personally - as you have been to every member here.

Best wishes and Happy Camping!
