Southern Ontario parks?

Heading to Toronto area this summer and was looking for any info (good/bad)on campgrounds near Orangeville or Canada's Wonderland. Plan to spend 5 nights so would need full hookups. Also plan to go into Toronto for a couple day trips without the trailer of course.
Thanks,
Don

Shamadon RV resort is a first class place to go. It maybe out of the area you want. 70 km west of Orangeville. Check out their website. We fell in love with this place. Safe/ clean/ quiet and full hook ups. Caught 7 rainbow trout one day.

Wow!! What a nice place, just may be too far out from where we want to be. Too bad as I love to catch Trout. Thanks I will certainly keep it in mind if plans change.

Shamadon is awesome and a great place to stay. I just checked with my friends who have been camping forever and they haven't been up that way. Sorry couldn't help. All the best.

Cookstown KOA is probably closest to Canada's Wonderland. We have stayed there. I would rate it as OK, nice pool and playground. Not a lot of shaded areas.
There are some outlet malls right next door too. It would still be a short drive to downtown TO if you wanted to do CN tower or Ripleys Aquarium etc...
It's always busy driving into TO so I don't think there is an optimum place to stay with an RV.
