Switching to FOREMOST insurance Co.

So this year I actually had some time to shop around for insurance. I'm dropping Liberty Mutual and going with Foremost.

Premium goes from $990 down to $559! Liberty is very high here in Taxachusetts.

Has anyone heard of them? Any comments good or bad would be appreciated.

TIA.

UPDATE: I just did a search here and Foremost had been mentioned to me back in 2015. I forgot about it completely! Comments regarding them are still welcome!

We use them to insure my husband's motorcycle. Fortunately we have never had to contact them for any claims. We found out about them through AARP I believe.

Foremost was founded in 1952 as an automobile insuer. I don't know how long they've been insuring RVs but know their experience with mobile homes is 50 years plus. They're currently rated A/A+. Unfortunately their customer ratings are not very good.

I used to live across the street from their home office in Fremont, MI. They never came out to be the cheapest for me when compared but I heard pretty good stuff when it came to claims.

Foremost is tied in with Farmers Insurance. That's who my Farmers agent (who has all the rest of my business) got my travel trailer insurance with.

Bad New... My agent just called to inform me that Cape Cod is outside of FOREMOST coverage zone. UGH.. getting TT insurance in Massachusetts is close to impossible.
As my original post states, Liberty Mutual auto/rv premiums are out of control here in Mass. If I move my autos to another provider, LM said they won't cover my TT on a separate policy....
I like to hear from people in Massachusetts who they are using for an insurance provider for their travel trailer? HELP!!

Try Progressive. We're in VT and there were no issues.

I just plugged in two different MA zip codes and got the following:

We do not have a program available for travel trailer insurance in the state you have selected. We apologize for the inconvenience.

I went to "local insurance agents", plugged in my old Plymouth zip code, selected RV/Trailer, click find a agent and a map should appear. 2 agents, one in Bourne and one in Falmouth. We did ours over the phone 1-855-347-3693 and it was a breeze. BTY, our main company is USA and and they recommended Progressive.
