Television purchase for TT

Our 23BHM supports a 32" TV for the living room or outside. We opted for a unit that did not have it included (most appear to be crap from the ones we looked at). Any special considerations when buying one of Amazon? Must haves / must avoids?

Looking at a refurbished Vizio 32" 1080p for $135 shipped since I don't expect we'll use it much.

I bought a 32 Samsung brand new form circuit city for a little under $200.00. Watch the sales. It's also a 1080

We purchased a 32" TCL Roku TV from Wally World. $135 for a smart TV. Very satisfied with it. Also got the $19 wall mount they had there and it works fine. Store the TV under the couch when traveling.

24in Insignia Roku Smart TV from BestBuy. First one was faulty, exchanged for this one which is great. Low cost, and can watch Netflix in the corner of my property where it's stored. MORyde extending swivel TV mount with flush locking position for travel. Very happy.

I was looking at this one yesterday. 99 bucks.
Westinghouse 32" Class (31.5" Diag.) - LED - 720p - HDTV Black WD32HB1120-C - Best Buy

It is not a smart TV but I don't need that while camping.

Same, but you bring up a good point. I was shopping 1080p TVs and don't even know what resolution the DVD player can do.

If it's a standard DVD player then it's just standard definition (480P) and it will appear pixilated on your new TV. If it's a Blue Ray player then it's 1080P and it will look great on your TV.

I know the technology, I just don't know the specs of the player yet.
