The weather sucks

Man, planning on leaving from the Joliet, IL area Tuesday for Mesa, AZ. Looks like high winds, rain/ice and or snow. Usually head down I55 into Missouri - Arkansas to Texas and west to AZ. Sigh

We are heading to Surprise AZ Friday. Right now it is snowing and single digits most any way we go. Yuck. Our friends texted today it was 37 this morning
south of Mesa. Need to go to New York to find the warm.

You are heading the wrong way... 84 today (Clearwater, FL).. record highs again... winter poked it ugly head out here a couple weeks ago..the temp dropped to 50 degrees.. AC is on everyday.. never made it to the Keys the first week in December.. had to cancel... bummer

Don

Weather channel showed some bad stuff heading east, (lived in Spring Grove IL until 1998, used to race at the Rockford drag strip, I think it was called Byron or something like that), may be a break in the weather for you in the next couple of days.. jump at it

Don

Well Maddad I'm about an hour and half West of you and yes sounds like a good winter storm is rolling in with some ice. Good luck I'll say a pray for you for no problems!
I hope to be retired some day and get away from these winters as well

We're sitting in our hands in northern Illinois waiting for a break in the weather to head south to New Orleans and points south to find warm clear dry weather.
I know, that doesn't exist right now.

Woke up to 3 degrees in Northern Nevada this morning. Clear skies and snow everywhere makes for beautiful scenery. I'm over it though, glad the days are getting longer and looking forward to having water in the lakes this year

74 degrees here right now, windy and wet. Rain last week, and high chances of rain next week. Off for 2 weeks for the holidays, and the weather not due to break until I go back to work Jan. 4

'Twas the night before Christmas,
and all tru the house,
the AC was blowing,
we live in the South!

It's going to get down into the mid 20's tomorrow morning here in Quartzsite. Going to have to fire up the furnace tonight and open the cabinet doors to prevent pipes from freezing. I've been using my Big Buddy space heater, but this kind of cold calls for furnace heat.
