There be snow on top

I am posting this b cause I know many people has concerns about covering and how much weight the roof can take. Those in Northern climbs with Nader how much snow.
How much snow weight is subjective to the moisture content. However, this is only the beginning of the season and as many can tell there is quite a bit of snow on top. There it will stay until melt off. Here in Alaska we are also in our dry time so the snow has a low moisture content compared to where I grew up in Northern Nevada.
As a side note; more people here in Alaska use these blue tarps to cover their rigs than the custom fit $500+ ones.

Really?

For us that's normal January / February snowfall. You should see what it looks like when we have a blizzard.....LOL.

About 12 years ago we had rain and then freezing rain, right after we had as much snow on the roof as in the picture. I had (HAD) a metal shed at the campsite and the roof collapsed. Fortunately we found out in time and shoveled the snow off and then tarped it so the contents would not get damaged.

All through it, though, the roof on the RV suffered no pain and is still leak-free to this day.

I shoveled my RV roof off once this season, being extremely careful not to touch the rubber roof with the shovel. There was an unbelievable snowfall in a short period of time which required me to get the snow blower up on the deck, and even my lifted 4X4 was pushing snow with the front air dam.

The Magnum Truss roof is extremely strong but even this amount on top of the unit made me uncomfortable. Now it's well above freezing and it's all melted.
