This may sound crazy...

We got back today after a splendid 10 day trip to Western Michigan. We stayed at Platte River CG, Ludington, and Mears. The crazy part...All of us had a heck of a time getting cell signal at Ludington. Really, not all that surprised & very welcomed. But, our Jensen radio/CD/DVD player wouldn't work either! It had worked fine in Platte River and in Mears, before & after, respectively. My hubby even took the radio out & made sure wires hadn't loosened, etc...Any thoughts as to why? It's as if Ludington had all signals scrambled, or I just may be paranoid!

Were you able to get radio stations on your radio in the Tow Vehicle?
If YES = then the radion in the trailer may have a bad or poor ground at the antenna.
If NO = then there signals are weak or you found a spot that did not have signal.

Kim,

Don't have an answer to your reception issue, but I'm sure there is a logical reason (no paranoia involved).

On an unrelated topic....., just wondering if you can jump over to the "Campgrounds and Attractions" forum and start a thread on what you thought about the three Michigan CG's you stayed at. I'm really curious about the Platte River CG because I've heard great things about it. There has been other members inquiring about western Michigan CG's recently as well.

Thanks in advance.

Bob

Yes! I will do that! We didn't use radio in TV, only CD's when we got outside CG.
