I bought one from Harbor Freight.
I think it is a good idea to check the torque on your wheels periodically.

X2 on the harbor freight. They occasionally go on sale.

The views expressed may not be mine in five minutes.

+1 on the Harbor Freight torque wrench. I carry one every time we go out along with a VERY well appointed tool box with a wide assortment of sockets, as well as a smaller tool box inside the unit. My big tool box started life as a Craftsman Mechanic's tool set (175 pc? I don't remember) and I have added specific tools over the years. It's important to ensure you have the tools that fit your rig; for example, your lug wrench from your tow vehicle may not fit the lugs on your trailer tires.

Is the torque wrench a "must have"? I don't know about that. You're mostly going to use it if you have a flat, and I don't know of many people who use one when they're changing a flat on the side of the road. I would say if you had to choose, a good breaker bar would be more important along with sockets that will fit your hitch tackle. If I could only take one, I would leave the torque wrench at home.
