tote slinky

What size slinky do you use with a tote? I just bought a Barker tote and it came with a short (2' ?) section of hose, one fitting and a hose clamp. I tried like he__ to get the hose over the fitting but gave up and figured it may be easier to find a pre-made hose with with both ends already attached. Does anyone make a short slink for this application or will my 10' hose work ok?

We have a 10-12 ft slinky that we use on our 32 gal blue tote. Works fine for our use, which is only for grey water. We put the tote in the back of our truck and pump the grey water to it with a flojet macerator pump. Drive truck to the dump station and dump from the back of the truck.
