Trailer Rim Pressure Rating
How do I find the pressure rating of my trailer's rims? Is it published somewhere in my documents or on a sticker on the trailer itself?

Stamped or cast in the backside of the rim itself. Some only have weight ratings and you might need to go directly to Jayco to confirm manufacturer for the specs.

Call Jayco . You will need your VIN so they can look it up.

Seemm like on the bigger trailers you'll find it on the backside of the rim. For my htt I had to call Jayco with my Vin number.

It may be easier to check the spare rim, possibly on one of the spokes depending on ruin style. If it's stamped w/ a max weight it can handle the comparable tire's max pressure. Our rims are stamped with a max weight of 2830lbs, which is comparable to LR E tire with a max of 80psi.

My spare is steel and the "ground" wheels are aluminum. I finally got the mfg and was able to get the pressure rating.

I don't recall who the mfg was but they are nice looking aluminum wheels and are rated at 100#. I've looked over a couple of them and there is a "psi" cast into the back side of the rim but no value is next to it.

Sendel makes most of the aluminum wheels. You can find your wheel on their site and get the specs, or email Tredit tire and they can verify.

Not the same rims. The spares are steel and many of, if not all our 5'ers come with aluminum ones.

As I replied to Red, that makes it tough when the spare is steel and ground wheels have Al rims.
Though SkyBound (the op) does have a tt (which a fair number of tt's have all the same steel rims) and I was only trying to add to your reply that it may be easier to check the spare rim vs crawling on the ground. More so because a mounted rim may not allow one to see a stamping pending where its placement is.

Thanks for all the replies. I do have the nice aluminum 5 spoke wheels, and the spare is a steelie. When I put new tires on, I want to go from LR C to LR D and need to make sure the rims can handle the pressure increase. I'm pretty sure I've seen my rims on larger trailers which leads me to believe they will be ok... Just need to see the numbers to verify.
EDIT - just found my wheels on the Sendel website. I have the T03SM in 15 inch. There is a 5 bolt version and a 6 bolt with pressure ratings of 60 and 80 psi respectively. I have the 5 bolt which means I can only run 60lbs and LR D tires are rated to 65psi I believe. So am I ok to just run 60lbs in a 65lb rated tire?

My rig has a steel spare and aluminum on the road rims. They are all the same capacity.

I wouldn't worry about it, but I'm just some anonymous guy on the internet. You should be able to look up an inflation chart somewhere that will tell you the tire capacity at different pressures to verify you'll still be better off (I'd expect that you will be).
I'd like to see a picture of a wheel that failed from having too much pressure in it! I can't imagine how it would fail. Now from a load standpoint, I can see how that would fail.
