Up or Down?
My bride just asked me to post this question to all of you..... (maybe a poll?)
When you're traveling, do have your window shades up or down?

My TT is on a permanent site but when we leave after a weekend visit, the shades are always pulled down

On my old TT they were always open. I could see right through the trailer and keep an eye on cars behind me.
No front and rear window on the Jay Feather so it makes no difference.

Down. They end up that way after a few miles anyway. Mine are all the pleated shade kind and the are just held up by tension and work their way down while traveling. Exception is the blind over the kitchen sink which is Venetian style and we always put it down too. One good bump and they can let go an come slamming down and if there isn't a shelf or ledge for the bottom to hit they can rip the mounting bracket right off. Ask me how I know this?

We keep ours down to prevent peepers from looking at our stuff when we make stops.

Not something we have ever though about. Some are up and some down. Ones in the bedroom are down.

Thank you for the many responses! Given a couple of new reasons, we will continue to travel with the shades down. Although I did like the value in keeping them up, as well. Thanks again!

We kept them down but the kids complained it made it too dark to read while on the road. Oh just kidding, never really considered it.

Always down when traveling or sitting in the yard. My thought is it may save the fabric on things from fading due to sunlight through windows.
