I'm looking for reviews and/or opinions on the Voyager Wireless Backup Camera's. We ordered one, as an option, for our Eagle HT 27.5 RLTS and now I find myself wondering if they're any good or not? We still have time to remove it as an option, so just thought I'd ask. Thank you!
We have had a voyager wireless backup camera installed on our 2013 Pinnacle since delivery. We have not had any issues with dropped signals or poor video quality for a wireless system. Our camper is 40 feet long and we tow with a crew cab long bed. Several people have had issues with signal quality and loss of signal with the wireless systems.
Welcome from a few miles down US27. Happy camping.

I have had the Voyager Wireless Camera on my TT for 4 years. Only problem I have had is last winter a fair amount of water got into the camera (it does not rain that much in SoCal desert). Took it apart (very easy to do), dried it out, put silicone sealer on the gasket and everything works fine now. Have never experienced any dropouts during use. To increase its usefulness while backing into a tight spot I put a clear screen protector over the monitor. Using two long ropes stretched along each side of the TT, I added lines to the screen protector like a vehicle backup camera has.
I too was on the fence regarding the Voyager system. While I don't really need it, I went ahead and ordered it as a factory option. It's quite expensive for what it is and I'm sure I could come up with something just as good if not better for less, but having it installed from the factory means it's just one less thing I have to deal with and of course it will come with Jaycos two year warranty.
It will be nice when backing up to have that camera.
I really liked the previous posters Idea of a screen saver and making some lines on it using ropes as guides. Great idea.
