I get on mine and sweep it off every time. I weigh 220 and have never had a problem. I always get a roof ladder when I buy so I can do this. I figure it's better than having debris mess up the seals and then have to replace them or even worse, let water get in and do it's damage.

We carry a Ryobi 18v battery blower and a step ladder. Works great!

Slide covers are the only way to go. They look nice, keeps debris off the slide, keeps the top seal in good condition and keeps the slide cooler in the sun. Wouldn't have a trailer without them.
