Warranty transferable??

Anyone know if the 2 year warranty is transferable? looking at a used 2014, the dealer says he thinks so but hell tell me anything to buy something so im not taking his word.

I don't think so. On their web site it says the warranty applies to the original purchaser.

I think not, unless the dealer is adding a Jayplus with the re-sale. Perhaps a dealer can do something a private sale cannot. Private sales end the 2 year warranty of the original owner by Jayco. Best to call Jayco directly. Don't take any saleman's word for it.

I purchased a 2012 that was two months old, contacted Jayco, they said they wouldn't transfer the warranty.

Sorry, it is not transferable which is one reason late model units depreciate so quickly when traded in.

I just traded up to a 2013 X20e, Warranty not transferrable. I did negotiate with the RV Dealer to honor any defects if found once I took it out, none found so he is off the hook. That said I bought it knowing full well I could probably take care of most issues that may come up. That's what makes this forum so valuable to me.
