Water pump question

Added water to the fresh tank today. Readout shows tank 2/3 full. When I turned the water pump on, I could hear the pump motor runnng, but no water came out of any faucet or in the toilet. Does the water pump need to be "primed" in any way, and , if so, how's that done? Thanks.

Usually no priming needed. Maybe there is a valve that is shut off on the suction line that leads from the water tank to the pump? If so, turn it on. This valve would be used when winterizing when you might want to pump antifreeze (and not water) through the trailer's pipes.

No priming needed. I would locate your pump, and verify of the two valves that are used are in the correct position to pump from the tank, or for antifreeze.

Make sure the two valves are in the "Normal" position as per the placard.

Don't forget to check that the outside shower is turned off.

Also check that the inline filter cup on the suction line between the pump and water tank is tight and not sucking air into the line.

Did the system have water in it? It takes time to fill all the water lines and hot water tank.

Don't see many call it a hot water tank, they want to call it a hot water heater. Hot water doesn't need heating.
