water tank

I going from New orleans area to Tallaadega this week end and don't want to fill my water tank and carry all the extra weight from home, is there any place close to the track that I can fill the h2o tanks before I go in the infield. This is the first time we go so I am not familar with the area.
thanks
Randy

I can't think of any guaranteed places you could stop. Your best bet would maybe be a small gas station a little ways out and slip the attendant a few bucks to let you fill up.

There are fill services available on site. Look at the dega camping guide and I think there is a number in there you can call.

Wish I was going with you!

Randy, I'm 80 miles from Talladega and I would be happy to have you stop by here for a water fill. I am at my winter home base and our water here is excellent. I would only charge you a hand shake. I am a little off of the main highway, but the water is available if I can help. My location is in my profile.

I hope you enjoy the race. I'm going to Road Atlanta on October 17 for the Petit le Mans where they make right turns!!!

Randy T,
I can supply you with water. I am just off I59 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. 90 miles west of Talladega. You will travel through here on the way. PM me for directions / address.

I will be there as well, have been going for the last ten years.

There is a water fill still station right next to the Security building where you can fill before you cross the track into the infield. That is where I always fill my tanks as well.
