Weight question

I just used the Cat Scales for the first time. When I had to get out of my truck to push the call button, they weighed my truck before I had a chance to get back in. I was standing on the scale ahead of the front axle. Will this matter?

Here are the numbers:
STEER AXLE - 4120 lb
DRIVE AXLE - 4480 lb
TRAILER AXLE 6140 lb
GROSS WEIGHT - 14740 lb

My truck sticker shows :
Front Axle - 4800
Rear Axle - 6100
(Towing Capacity 12,200 lb - curb weight 6731 lb)

RV sticker shows:
RV weight - 6180 lb
cargo 2070 lb

I do have the Equilzer WDH
do you think I am ok with this set-up?
the only thing is I wasn't sitting in the truck but was on the scale near the front drivers tire & my DW was not in the truck...I was coming home from camping and had it pretty much loaded with my normal luggage/cargo, etc.
Are these numbers in good standing?
Thanks in advance with any input

I could be wrong, but as long as you were standing on the front scale near the tire, you should be fine. As for the wife not being there, just add her weight to the numbers on the scale.

Yesterday, I took the truck, loaded for camping to the CAT scales. My wife was up at the "weigh masters" office. I just added her weight 1/2 to the front axle and 1/2 to the rear axle, figuring the front seat is almost in the middle of the axles. Actually, 2/3 and 1/3 might be more appropriate.

You needed tw more passes across the scale:

1: With the wd bars unhooked.
2: Truck only.

That way you could see how the wdh is adjusted vs the truck only front axle weight, and figure out your loaded tw.

Follow the CAT Scale how to link in my signature for a ton of info.

Per the axle ratings you are good by a fair margin.

I thought this happened to me. Attendant said scales automatically read once to enter scale and stop. They just print the ticket.
Yes, you need 3 passes total on scales to get full picture.

For $0 you can download the Cat Scale App and never have to leave your vehicle or talk to an attendant.

We pull up, enter the scale number, it pings the scale master inside and verifies everything, charges our account $11 and emails a PDF of the scale ticket. I can also go inside and get a printed copy at the station if I choose to, but there's no reason to since the PDF they email you is the identical cat document that you get inside the store.

We've used it about 10 times now at different Pilot and Love's stores and it has worked flawlessly.

If you weigh again it only charges you $2, just like normal.

I can pull up, weigh, pay, receive my scale ticket via email in under 5 minutes and never leave the truck, push buttons, or stand in line.

The app is called "Weigh My Truck".
