What Do You Leave In You TT between Trips

In our area....temperatures can get upwards of 100+ degrees in a sealed TT (especially in top cabinets)....I don't leave ANY food, aerosol, wax, tape....etc.

It could get that hot in our area as well. What we did to mitigate that problem is open the front window slightly and then the rear bathroom vent (we had a vent cover in case it rained) and the TT was reasonably cool. At least it never got much hotter than ambient temperature. Convection is a great way to keep the unit cool. On our new Greyhawk it came with a temperature controlled automatic fan in the bedroom. I set it to about 80 and as soon as unit starts heating up the fan comes on. It also works very well.

We store our camper at a storage place. All the fridge/freezer stuff has to come out as there is no power between trips.

Any perishable food that we want to keep in the camper between trips goes into a sealed plastic tub.

The s'more supply of chocolate comes with us so that it doesn't melt

Lots of good ideas here. I like the ideas of storing in sealed plastic containers or tubs to minimize what go's in and out. We actually have power at the RV storage site. From what I have seen I could keep the trailer plugged in there and leave the fridge on, but I wonder how hot it would get inside the trailer. Nothing but the standard factory vent and fan...maybe I'll have to upgrade!

We leave everything but perishable food. We can be on the road in an hour or less if need be.

We leave it supplied and heated or air as needed. We treat it like the house next door only it moves as required.

We don't pack clothing or anything, it's ready to go.

If we want to watch a movie in the house we have to go to the camper and find one.
If I go fishing from home I go to the camper and get my gear.
Most of the year the camper is primary and the house is where we run out of stuff.

We leave all our camping necessities in the camper except food and clothing.

Taking the rig to storage today for a between trips nap. Was wondering what to do with the water in the tank and plumbing system.

To drain or not to drain...that is the question. Tank, tubes and hot water heater. What do you do?

We drain....it doesn't take much effort and we've never had an issue with bacteria bloom
