I didn't mount it to the light, I removed the light and mounted the camera in it's place.

I would thinks so. I worked in glass construction and that suction cup base is the same one we would use to carry MASSIVE plate glass, mirrors, and insulated units. There was no way that thing was letting go until you pushed the release vacuum button. You'll break the fiberglass before you break the suction....

Obviously it won't work on an aluminum side...

I drilled 4 small screw holes where the camera require them. But the screw holes are inside the footprint of the marker light so if I remove the camera and put the light back there will be no extra visible holes.

I wired up the monitor today. Wiring is permanent but I can remove the monitor and tuck the plug up in the edge of the headliner making all signs of the monitor vanish. This is needed around here, some slime bag will bust my window to steal it thinking it's a GPS unit.

Sorry again for the bad pic, it's gloomy again here. No image on the monitor because the trailer needs to be hooked up and it isn't.
