What have you done to get ready for the season?

So what have you done to get ready for the upcoming camping season? Here's my short list:
  • New camping mat
  • New camping chairs (5)
  • New LED TV for rear bunk house.
  • Instal TV bracket in bunkhouse.
  • Ordered filtered water faucet for kitchen sink
  • Got all warranty work done
  • Second Air Conditioner for bedroom (at dealer now)

And
  • Booked May camping trip (somewhat local)
  • Booked Myrtle Beach SC
  • Booked Hershey

Now I just have to wait for Friday so I can start cleaning it up and de-winterize it.

I just got a 2012 32 bhds jayflight with 1 ac. We like it very cold at night. Do you think we would also need another ac for the bedroom? Why did you add one?

I am planning a South Carolina trip in July. The ceiling of the 30.5 BHLT has got to be close to 8.5 feet in height which makes a lot of volume to cool down. We did not have any problems last year, but it was close. Because of the S.C. trip, I really didn't want to take a chance of not being cool enough so I went with the second A/C. I'd rather sit in a cool area saying that I wasted the money than sit in the heat kicking myself and having to drink warm beer!

My spring prep included buying a new Pinnacle 31rlts which we got about 10 days ago. After its shake-down cruise I booked a week's stay at the Great Smokies for the 1st week of April.

We bought a 5th wheel. Sold the old one. I think. Booked a longer trip in July.

Several interior convenience mods. I'm going to paint the tongue and frame this spring and add a filler strip to the front bunk cushion that goes over the trailer to bunk transition zone.

- New 22" LED/DVD for bedroom
- mounting bracket for TV (yet to be installed)
- New 3" foam topper for queen bed
- 4 new outdoor folding chairs
... trailer is still in storage, but several simple mods are planned once we bring her home in a few more weeks. Can't start booking park campgrounds up here until April, but have lots of dates in mind.

Happy camping friends!

We are now in our 6th year without having to winterize or get our trailer ready to use. 12 months a year of summer. I will take the Kozy World heater out and replace it with a fan.

Cleaned up camper, wiped down cabinets, turned on fridge.
Need to load food, bedding, some supplies.
Just pumped the embalming fluid out of the lines yesterday and now sanitizing for this weekend!
Supposed to me in the mid to high 60's and mid low 40's at night.

Don't think the water is turned on at the campground yet but electricity is always on.

New to TT camping, so basically bought EVERYTHING! I especially love my splurge on a Coleman LED lantern. It takes 8 D batteries (yeah, I know!), but it gives off great light & I no longer freak out when the kids touch it, like I did with the old fuel one.

Is this the one that you bought? I saw it at Costco and thought it was really slick and wondered how well it lit up at night? I suppose it would be 2 D-Cell's per panel?

I'm curious as to when you will be in MB and where you are staying? We will be there the week of July 14-21 and staying at Lakewood. This will be our third year for MB and Lakewood, we love it there.
