National Weather service has issued a winter weather warning for us starting tomorrow, Sunday, and in to Monday. Calling for ice, not good.

Much needed rain in Casa Grande this weekend with temps around 70.

Next week warming up again with sunny 80's on the way.

Hey Larry, Your storm system is what will be causing our snow/ice.

Yup, probably heading your way.

All of the SW needs rain but CA has issues with to much at one time then mud slides. Here in the AZ desert not much chance of that.

At 12:30 this afternoon the truck said it was -8 deg F, and nice and sunny. This morning on the way to work it said it was -17 deg F. Too cold for March!

54 degrees and no wind here in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia at 10:30 AM, 39 degrees, very windy, and rain starting by 12:30 PM, 5-8 inches of snow/ice predicted by noon Monday, possible 8-10 inches of snow by Tuesday morning. But the good news is that we have seen several robins, and the crocus have started to bloom !! Spring just has to be around the corner, but it sure is a loooonnnng block.

We enjoyed two spring days yesterday and the day before, high hit 81 both days. Redbuds, dogwoods, peach/plum/pear trees, agarita all blooming. Really was like spring. High this morning at 7 am was 68, a norther pushed through around 9:30 am and temps started falling. Got a little rain, .02". Currently 26 degrees, I just finished re-winterizing our trailer. NWS projects a low of 25, but since it's 26 at 5:55 pm, I'm guessing low will be closer to 21-22. Guess all that spring vegetation gets to start over. Even by TX standards, this has been one WEIRD winter!

Last night the rain you may have seen hitting California arrived last night here in Casa Grande, AZ. The dog run at our RV Resort had been completly dry but now there is 4 feet in the middle and 2 feet at the edges...any rain water drains there via the slope of the roads in the RV Park where we are at.

Not to fret....sunny and going back into the 80's mid-week.
