Its 24* here, lightly snowing with a NNW wind gusting to 45. Low tonite around 12 is forecast, coldest weather we have had in several years. Ouch. Hard to keep my chickens supplied with water with it this cold.

Mostly sunny, Low 21 this morning, high 55 this afternoon. Tomorrow partly cloudy, low 43, high 68. Sunday partly cloudy, low 25 (!), high 48.

If I didn't have to work, I'd be out there camping! This is PERFECT weather!

It is to be 74 today in Phoenix. Been living in the Eagle on the side of the house during the holidays. We needed the extra sleeping space for all the visitors. Company all went home last night. Moving back into the house today.

16 degrees and sunny here in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, with about 3 inches of snow on the ground. Ice and more snow expected tomorrow, and more on Monday. Lows may get down into single digits. Retirement is looking better and better - I can stay home and watch the snow coming down without having to go out in it !

Here in Quartzsite it's kind of chilly right now... 52 degrees. But don't worry about me. It's going to be bright sunshine and in the 70's in a little while. I'll survive. Ha Ha Ha!

I can't wait to hear the spin those global warming scientists who were trapped in a frozen ship put on their plight!

It is FREEZING here!!!! The temperature went down to 50 this morning, I thought it was going to snow. IT is now about 70, I have my winter TEE shirt on (has sleeves). Do not miss the Illinois/Wisconsin winters. If I want to have 4 seasons I watch them on WGN TV out of Chicago.

Yesterday, +1 and a low of -6

Today, -16 and a low of -23

Tommorow, -23 and a low of -29 with the windchill should be around -36.

On a side note, we've gotten 80% of the all the snow we got last year already, and we still have about 4.5 months of winter left

Peggy and I decided to start this New year camping. Got to the campsite New Year's Day. Weather was mild with some drizzle. Started raining that night and rained on and off most of Thursday. Thursday night the Arctic blast came in!! Woke up to 55 degrees at 3 am, the propane valve did not switch tanks. Water hookup froze but luckily we have a full fresh water tank. Beautiful sun today but cold. Took a nice hike and warmed ourselves up just fine. Slowly going to warm up until we leave Sunday with very cold mornings.

All I can say is you guys are tough. Those temps and that much snow would bring eastern Virginia to a standstill.
