We drove past there a few weeks ago when we were in Maine, and they had a line going in. Post back how it is, we were looking at the flyer for it and it looked pretty cool and a lot to do. We may stay there in October when we go back up to Maine

We didn't take the camper, but this was our set up last weekend for the eclipse. My college roommate and a friend of his from high school decided to act like teenagers and set up camp in a cattle pasture north of Atchison, KS.
Cloudy skies kept us from getting a full-view of the eclipse, but we did experience about two minutes of darkness in the middle of the day.
One night, we had some unexpected visitors come up to the campsite.

This weekend, no where. However, next weekend , Labor Day Weekend, we'll be at Cherry Hill Campground at College Park, MD. We'll be with 9 other RV's of varying description (Tag axle DP down to my 23RB and including a 34' triple axle Air Stream) for the beginning of college football season. It's a neutral site game between WVU and VT at Fed EX Field home of the Redskins.

We'll be in the 23RB for 32 nights over two months beginning next weekend.

Fort Bragg, CA. Pomo Campground

Next week Sept. 7-9. With northern CA. Valley temps. 108-110 F with the nights only cooling to 70 by morning, it's time to go to the Mendocino coast. The Labor Day crowds will be gone and the coastal breezes and a little fog will feel so good.

I'm headed to Sacramento tomorrow and I'm not looking forward to 100+ degree days next week when North TX is supposed to be in the 80's!

My bride is camping on a cruise ship in the Pacific. I'm camping at home with day trips to the gun range. The best of both worlds.

It's gonna cool off to the 90's. If you get a "Delta Breeze" in Sacramento, it will cool down at night. Enjoy. Are you RVing the trip?

Heading out after the Labor Day holiday rush for a week in southwest Montana - Lewis & Clark Caverns and Bannack Ghost Town. Haven't been to Montana in many years so looking forward to the trip.
