So far this year we have been to Hungry Mother State Park and to visit Burkes Garden, then to Gettysburg, Pa. May 1-3 at Grayson Highlands State Park, this is a great place to visit. Next visit will be May 25-30 at Buckhorn Campground, part of the Chickasaw National Recreation Area in Sulphur, Okla. Then we move to Lake Texoma for five more days. Lots of family visiting, they are all campers! Not sure where we will be working our way back but it will all be good! I know there will be in between trips before July but our next reservation are at Cape Hatteras end of July. Have fun everyone and keep on campin!

Going out for the first time this weekend with new truck and new trailer....wish us luck! Heading to Lake Solano County Park near Lake Berryessa. It is a organizational trailer setup trip. I have full hookups just to test everything out for the year. We have another big trip on Memorial Day weekend to Lassen National Park.

We're at the KOA in Chincoteaque VA...the weather is awesome today. Went over to Asseteaque VA to the beach and lighthouse this morning. Loving the campin life

Heading out this afternoon for fourth straight weekend. We're going to a lake we visit regularly, but staying a different COE campground for the first time. Daughter, Son-in-law and 5-year-old granddaughter are coming along.

Home.. Moving plants in and out.. It remains cool to freezing.. To Plant or Not to Plant that is the question..
20 miles away laterally and one mile up it is 23 degrees. and 55-75 mph winds.

Wife just had shoulder surgery, so we're doing a 30 day stint at our membership campground between Banning and Idyllwild, CA.
Forced relaxation is just what the doctor ordered.

Depending on the weather, they are calling for heavy rain for the rest of the week, we will be back at our regular boondocking spot. Can't wait to see how the new F150 handles the trailer and a few thousand feet of muddy wet logging road. So much for babying the new truck....
