Heading to Red Lodge, MT. We've never been there but hear it's great. Then heading home through Yellowstone.

Sunday begins our 10 day western US tour. We will be heading first to Nellis AFB to visit our grand daughter and her husband. Then to Slab City, just because it seems weird enough to be interesting. Will be meeting our son and daughter in law on the 5th of Sept. at Yosemite Nat. Park. Nope, not gonna climb the face of Half Dome. Then back home.

Just picked up the GL26BH last week and have been installing TVs, loading supplies, and hanging out in the driveway all week. Going to Jeddy Park in Port Canaveral, Florida this weekend for our maiden voyage. It is a 45 minute drive from the house and close to everything in case we need it.

So far, no problems, leaks or issues. I did find some loose nuts and bolts but overall I am very pleased with the quality and workmanship.

Oh yeah.....going to enjoy the weekend in the camper!

We stayed at 370 Lakeside Park in St. Peters MO a couple of weeks ago and it was nice. The park is city maintained and very new (maybe a couple of years?). It is clean and well laid out. The only downside was the trees were all still very small so no shade anywhere. Close proximity to downtown St. Charles, the Ameristar casino and also shopping malls in St. Peters. We'd definitely stay here again.

We are headed to the "Broken Wheel Campground" in Petersburg, NY after work today for the long weekend. It is supposed to be a beautiful weekend!!! Unfortunately, we only have one more trip planned for the rest of the season after this [emoji20], which is scheduled for 9/30 - 10/2. Who knows, maybe if we have a nice fall like last year we might be able to squeeze another trip or two in. Otherwise we'll be at Camp Driveway.

Happy Labor Day weekend everyone!!

Cheers [emoji482]

We are at the Desert Eagle RV Park, Nellis AFB, NV. Beautiful park, friendly people (although getting on base can be somewhat problematic since we are not active or retired military. Also definitely not the place to come for the peace and quiet. Planes start flying at 0545 and reveille is at 0630. Still a wonderful place to be for visiting my grand daughter and her husband who are both serving.

right across from the big fire by west Yellowstone but on the forest service side or west side of the fire. Yellowstone is in stage 2 restrictions but we are still stage one which I hope it remains in, otherwise no campfires. be a little windy this afternoon so will be an interesting weekend.

Camping at Sampson State Park on Seneca Lake in NY. It's an old Navy training grounds from WWII. Transformed into a huge state campground. Most of the old base roads are still there and you can walk or bike them (most closed to vehicular traffic). Really nice place, and lots of wine in the area!

We are set up in Statesboro, Ga at Parkwood RV until Sunday. It's hot but who cares! We are camping for the first time in 2 months due to family sickness at home.

Headed to F.D. Roosevelt SP next week.

Camp Driveway again.
The DW was all ready to go last weekend but mom was in the hospital for surgery. I hate it when a camping opportunity is missed!
