which tire brand did you Jayco come with?

Curious,
Our 2013 Eagle HT 23.5 came with Goodyear Marathon but I see that the new rigs coming out this year (still 2013 year) are sporting Powerking Tow Max.

Which one are on your rigs and why the change from one to the other I wonder.

My new 2010 sported Duro tires on the dealer lot. They were weathered, cracked and looked 15 years old. No paperwork was signed until those junk tires were replaced with Maxis tires including the spare.

My Designer has Good Year Marathon tires which are going to be replaced the end of this month before I head to Florida for my summer host position. They look brand new, no cracking, etc., but they are going away anyway.

Our Designer 5er came with GY Marathons. We bought it used in the late fall of the year, and had it towed to our home, as we had not purchased a hitch yet for the truck. Never moved it until the following spring. Tires looked good. But just sitting there, one tire blew out the sidewall during the winter, and another had a bulge ready to blow. Replaced all four with Maxxis, two at a time off the trailer, as I did not want to risk an accident on the way to the tire store. So far, the Maxxis have been great. They are made in Thailand, but to US specifications in a state of the art American-built factory, according to my inquiry to the company. Would never go back to GY Marathons. JMHO

Goodyear Marathons. 3000 miles and still look brand new, but I haven't had a look since last fall. Should be able to get the trailer out of storage in about 2 weeks. Supposed to snow 6" this weekend however.

Our 2012 also came with Power King TowMax STR Radials. So far so good... Will have about 1000 miles on them after our trip home today.

2011 US made Goodyear Marathons. They have about 30K miles on them now. Since I haven't rotated them regularly, the rears are worn to the point they need to be replaced. The fronts look good.

Since I don't plan to travel much in the near future, I'm going the cheap route and will buy one new Marathon at Wallyworld and use it and the spare to replace the worn rear tires. When they all need replaced, I'll probably go with Maxxis tires.
