Just found a cracked plastic fitting that I never thought about because I haven't used the FW holding tank this year. It's the fitting that's at the bottom of the tank right next to the low drain fitting. If you don't blow it out when you drain the tank it's going to have water in it over the winter( at least mine did). I never thought of blowing that one out.
The fitting on the right goes to the pump and as you can see it's lower than the tank.

I've never had a camper with a "low point drain" before. What do I do different in winterizing this rig? It also has 3 holding tanks, 2 grey and 1 black.

Going to have the dealer do it for the first couple of years while the TT is in to address warranty issues, but will do it myself after that.

Winterizing where I live is pretty simple, drain water tank, holding tanks, drain water heater. Run pump to clear out. Pour pink into drains. Done.
But....my previous RV had to be returned to the factory in Indiana in December for total wall replacement under warranty. I found out to late it gets cold there. All my water facuets froze and busted including the one in the shower. Never knew it until we were sit up in Port A in March.
Now I do the blow out with air thing as well.

You would open all the low point drains and faucets allowing the water to drain out, and do not forget the water heater. Then winterize accordingly, see instructions on post one.

Yes I did just that one time and before I realized it had lost about 1/2 a gallon of the pink stuff out the rear low point drains.

Winter storage related ?
What do you leave in the TT/MH over the winter, anything at all or do you empty it completely, just like it was on the dealer lot?

I remove all food, paper, & liquid. We bring in the pillows & sleeping bags to use through the winter when the little ones sleep over.
Any thing that won't freeze or attract critters can stay. It has to be stored somewhere and I love "out of the way"

I believe MH is done now for winter storage. Question I have this being my first Class B. Should I remove the house batteries and put in garage where it's warmer during the winter?
Are there any other things I need to do besides water? thanks

I would leave the batteries in. Make sure full of fuel diesel or gas, if gas put some sea foam in it, and start and let run 30 min every couple weeks.

Thanks for the info Texas, Tank is full of fuel. Wife wants me to run gen. every couple of weeks also. She thinks that's a good ideal just to keep things oiled up and prevent any problems down the road.
