X17Z - Water Leak!

Took both TT's out yesterday for the last trip of the year yesterday. We were getting ready to eat in the white hawk when I went back to the 17z for something. It was the. I noticed a puddle of water coming out of the dinette booth next to the fridge.

So I opened the storage area and found more water. We actually keep bottled water in there so I though one of them broke. Nope.

Further investigation revealed that the outdoor shower was leaking inside the camper. I reached in and tightened the plastic but that secures the handles to the inside of the camper. Leak seemed to stop. I checked the other nut and was able to tighten that one too.

I'd say each nut went 1/4-1/2 turn to tighten it. Might be something to look into doing in yours.

We had a water leak near hot water tank connection under bunk. It is a hand tight connection. I caught it because the pump keep randonly going on due to loss of pressure in line. Not a big deal IF you catch it soon.

I have a small water alarm next to the water heater. I had a leak years ago and I want to know right away if I have one again.

A few months after getting the 23B we had two water leaks. Similar connection on the bathroom sink. The other one I think was the bathroom sewer drain, that one I have never tracked down, but I think it has been fixed.

I suspect the vibrations from pulling our TTsdown the road loosen up fittings.
