"You are not logged in"

Is anyone else having a problem with the above message popping up. As I am reading through posts, I am going from logged in to not logged in. Even as I went to the forums and was logged in, when I went to make this post, I had to re log in!


Even though I logged in to make this post, would not let me post. Had to go back and log in again!

Same thing again! The page says I am logged in, but returns me to the log in page when I try to post! I give up

Same thing here this past weekend. I put in a ticket and this was the response.

>We had some server problems.

>Try clearing your cache and deleting the Jayco cookies in your browser.

>We apologize for the problem.

For some reason, now I don't even have to log in after I checked the box to remember me.

There were server problems this weekend. That is cleared.

No, not fixed as of Tuesday AM 1/19/16. Had to log in 5 times to post this but will be logged out when change page again.

Admin notified us there could be some lingering issues with the server. I will notify them of this.

This is usually a cookie problem.
If you are having problems logging in, staying logged in, getting logged out at page changes or seeing extra ads or content ads (underlined text with ad links) you are getting logged out when you change pages on the site.

Steps to fix this issue (not all may be needed):

Empty your temp internet files (browsing history),
Delete the Jayco cookies,
Set your browser’s security to medium-high,
Clear your cache,
Log out.
Log back in and click the “Remember Me” button.

If you are still having trouble, you may need to specifically enable cookie exchange with the forum in your browser settings or set your system security setting to med-high.

You may need to close your browser or reboot your computer.

Well, we have gone through all the above steps and are finally in. We will see what happens now. I could not even respond to admin messages this morning as I would get logged out just about every time I changed a page. Finally gave up and went away and rested my mind. Got the messages from admin since they were copied to my email or I would not have been able to receive them!

Members have issues with this even when all is well with the forum if they do not click on the "remember me" box when logging in. If you click on that box and do not log out yourself, you will stay logged on indefinitely.

Seems to be working ok now. I finally managed to post some pictures of the wiring mess behind my inverter and also in the basement storage area. Really interesting when you start pulling stuff apart to see what you find!

One of my anti virus malware programs always resets my cookies I think. This clears out my login info on several programs I am using...

Most of these programs allow you to specifically allow cookie exchange with a site and retain it. You might poke around in your settings for this if you are inconvenienced by repeated logins. we use cookies to keep you logged in

I have never had issues before now. Now I must log on multiple times for a single page request. Something is wrong on the server side. I have changed nothing. cookies are not blocked and never have been. Browser has been restarted and the cache cleared. No help. I will return when the problem has been fixed.

Are you checking the remember me box? Has there been any updated to your systems security protocols or virus protection?

Is this a widely reported problem? I have been on JOF almost all day and had not one problem. I know the site team is aware of the complaint but it can't be widespread with 2 reports so far.

I am having the same issues where it will not log me in unless I check the remember me box. I have never had that problem until now!

I've not had problems until about 4 or 5 days ago. Still happening as of 10 pm Central today.

Happened to me again this morning. I had forgotten to check the remember me box, although I never had to do that before. I have checked the box now and logged back in so we will see what happens. Don't understand why we have to check that box now when we never did before. Oh well, go with the flow..............
