1st Timer

Hello to all,
Just bought a 2009 28 QB leftover. Haven't picked it up yet-Jayco seems to be a quality product. Anyone have thoughts about the product or the company? It's on a Ford chasis with the 6.8 V10 engine. Any info would be great.
Thanks.

Hello Coach Mike Welcome to the World of Jayco. Come often and jump in any time. No question is a dumb one we all look for knowledge.
I am a first time Jayco owner too. We went the 5th wheel route. This is our second 5th wheel. I feel the Jayco quality is close to the best. I have toured the factory twice and a couple other brands. The Jayco workers take Pride in their work too.

Good Luck with the New Unit!!! Now hit the road and have fun!!!!

Wayne

I won't say 100% Amish Workers but looked like a good 80%. The plant was well organized and run like a watch. Jayco makes their own Cabinets, Drapes, Bed covers and Pillows. Tour guide John MacDonald said if you have a 1968 Tent Camper that needs new canvas they have the patterns on file, and will make you new ones. Watching the Amish worker and All others you could see the pride in building the Jayco product.
I toured Forest Rivers Cardinal plant with a rally I did. We had about 35 people in the tour all Cardinal owners. What a let down the place was a Dump. The only thing missing was a Tatoo Parlor.
Now I won't say you would eat off the floor at Jayco, but the three second rule does apply. I guess you could see I was sold on the Jayco

Thanks to all for the insight. Lord knows I will have more ??? as I get ready for first trip. Is it true that the passenger floorboard will get hot after a while? Will no one be able to sit there after a while?
Thanks again- I'll be back soon enough
