Red face 2009 Jayco Legacy

Hello Everyone, just wanted to introduce myself and say hello. DH and I are proud new owners of a "gently used" 2009 Jayco Legacy. We are still looking for a tow vehicle so any comments on that are welcome. We are closing in on retirement dates and have sold our house and most everything in it. Our plan is to become full-timers and we have chosen this Fiver as our new home. We understand that it was not originally rated for full-time living but think it will serve us well. Although the first owners were very gentle with this unit it did not come with ANY manuals so am picking those up on the web as I go along. The one that wants to charge me is for the generator though (ONAN), has anyone picked up one of those somewhere for free?

I do want to say I am proud to be a member of this community although our first impression of Jayco was not a good one. Several years ago we wanted to start out with a TT and learn before we made this HUGE purchase and we looked at some Jayco's that we felt wouldn't work for us. We decided on a used one (Trail-lite) from Craigslist and it served us well for 3 years. Then we decided to full time and began to do research, we decided we would like a Heartland product and went to purchase. The dealers we felt were not as "flexible" on those as we thought they could be and began to look outside of those products.

We found this and it was way too good to pass up. Sorry I rambled but just wanted to say how happy we are with what we did choose and why.

Thanks
Debra & Gregg

Congratulations on your Jayco and you new life style.

We have been fulltiming in our Jayco Pinnacle for a year and a half now, we love the lifestyle, freedom and low stress level.

Our Pinnacle is not officially rated for fulltime use too but it has served us well.
