2016 Jayco X23F

We just pick up our new X23F yesterday and our heading on our 1st trip this weekend (only an hour away to test). Any advice for a Newbie?

Lots!
Got three days?

We presume you did a thorough PDI and you know exactly how to safely operate every piece of equipment.

What's your current level of experience with camping? Tents, other TT or pop-up?

Congratulations and welcome to the forum.

If you will be camping this weekend, will you have a chance to 'practice' before leaving (in the driveway, yard, whatever)?

X2 and were sure you've been searching the forums this past winter and taking advantage of all it has to offer.

Thanks All...

Mike: Growing up I camped all the time with my folks from a pop-up to TT. But when I left the "nest" I have just tented. This is our first TT we have owned. We have 2 little ones so we decided to upgrade.

There's not much else you need to know.

The updates in how the appliances work will be in the manuals - read 'em!

If you are boondocking, your 12V battery will not last as long as it did 20 years ago. The control systems for the fridge, water heater and furnace use the battery. Plus the carbon monoxide & propane detector draw from the battery too.

I guess you understand about campsite sanitation. Were you taught how to safely get rid of the wastewater?
