Another Hello from Canada!

Hi All!

Getting ready to retire in a year or so, and go fulltime with my wife.

Did not buy my trailer yet, that will come in a year or so also.

But I have my eye on a Jayco after talking with friends and crawling all over a pile of travel trailers.

Looks like we will be doing 6 months in the southern U.S., and 6 months in Canada every year.

I guess it will be east to figure which half of the year we will be in based on the seasons!

Hello from Canada welcome to this Forum! Good luck with finding the Jayco you want, they are well constructed.

Hello, and welcome. It is a great way to go, we do not full time but we do wander aimlessly for months at a time in both Canada and the US.

Welcome from another Canadian. I would love to full-time RV for a few years, but I can't talk my husband into it!

Welcome from another Canuck, I'm a few years away from full timing, but defiantly a good part timer....love to be out traveling rather than working.

I haven't convinced my DW either to go south or do some full timing, it means I have to get back to a bigger unit. Rolling in the snow was fun when I was tad younger..........now I roll rather in the AZ hay during the winter.

G'day, when you decide on a model and floor plan and you're ready to buy, give Ingleside Trailer a chance to quote. Brian Shaver is the owner, operator. There are no other sales people, he has one person in the office and one person for repairs. He may not have the model in stock but can order it in. Very low key. He services the Campers and campgrounds in the Ingleside area(hwy 2 between Morisburg and Cornwall). We have bought 3 units from him and will likely buy a 4rth in a couple of years.

Welcome!! I'll be retiring next fall and looking forward to time on the road. Full timing is not planned but we're open to whatever. I mean, it's not like we'll have to be anyplace :-))

brianca2 lots of Jayco's in your neighborhood. Voyager RV moves lots of them and are friendly to deal with. You live in an area where you (if wanted too) can camp year round with some skirting. Live in Osoyoos for 13 years........to hot in the summer.
Good luck in your aim at freedom 55

We bough both of our trailers at Voyager. Great place to deal with. 7 more years till the next trailer. I hope they still have the 24 fbs then.

It's a small world, I lived in between the two of you at one time, I lived in Oliver from 80' - 84'.....sister and family still there and Mom & Dad are in Westbank last 30 years. The Okanagan Valley is where I am making my first trip next spring with the new Pinnacle....
