Another Missourian here!

Just saying hi from Blue Springs. Family and I bought a Jayco Pop-Up last year, we used it so much that we traded in for a White Hawk almost 2 months ago. We've had it for 7 weeks and have had it out all but two weekends. With having two kids (6 and 11) and 2 German Shepherds, we needed more room.

So far so good. Ive had to fix a few small issues. Flashing/trim above outside access rear door was missing a screw, bathroom sink drain needed to be tightened and the handle to raise the antenna popped off. All super easy quick fixes i did while camping.

We've got a big trip planned at the end of the month. Heading to Cherokee, NC. Staying at the Yogi In the Smokies campground. We stayed in a cabin at the KOA just a few blocks away when I was a kid with my parents. I remember those were some of the best vacations. Hope my kids enjoy it as much as I did.

Looking forward to reading and posting in the forums.

Hello!!

When our kids were young we had tents, moved up to pop ups. Bought some rural land and camped in old 2 bedroom trailer. We had no internet and only had VHS movies when we camped with the kids when they were young.

Fast forward to today and they are 25 and 29. It is such fun to hear them talk about their memories of roughing it when we camped. They have such positive memories. Thrilled we put out the effort rather than keeping kids home where they had distractions.

Our son and his wife are starting to look forward to taking their 1 year old camping in Grandmas condo on wheels.
