Brake controller

I just purchased a new Jayfeather 24T. I don't have a brake controller
and have seen many different brands and models on the internet.

Does anyone recommend one to operate the brakes of a 6000lb trailer?

Check out the new P3 by Tekonsha http://www.tekonsha.com/product/deta...90195&cat=1435
I've heard a bunch of good reviews on this one.

I have the Prodigy by Tekonsha. I have been very pleased with this unit. There are some nice features on my Prodigy such as the codes it gives you and it is an "inertia controller". It works the same highway driving or backing in spots. I don't think you will go wrong with either one. Prodigy or the P3
