With one under two and one on the way we decided to try the convenience of 5th wheel camping. We recently purchased a 2011 31.5 fbhs and had it shipped via barge to our remote Alaskan island. Our master plan has us touring the interior, Canada and the American Rockies on our planned move next year. Hopefully we'll get some good practice in before the big trip and learn how to do some efficient dry camping. Happy to be here and looking forward to all the great information everyone has to share.
Welcome to the forum KodiakCamper and congrats on your 2011 31.5 FBHS. Shipped via barge to your remote Alaskan island...first time I've heard anybody doing that.
Welcome to the Jayco Owners Forum KodiakCamper! You have some beautiful country up there to explore with your 5'er. Post some pics when you can of some of your adventures

Picked up the 5th wheel today from the barge company. Quite an experience. It rode all the way from Seattle on top of 2 connex boxes... Trailer showed up in mint condition. I'll try to post some pictures soon.
Anyone know where I could find a pull rite capture plate for a dexter king pin box?
