Considering Jayco
Hello all!
We are on again off again campers. We currently have a 2005 Coachmen Leprechaun but are strongly considering a new Jayco Greyhawk 29ks.
We reside in the Duluth area near the always beautiful Lake Superior. Camping season is short up here and is already more than half behind us.
We have owned several campers over the years. Started with a 28 foot Yellowstone bunk house travel trailer when the kids were small and we were seasonal at a local campground. Great memories with the kids there.
Sold that when the kids got older and seasonal camping took a back seat to kids sporting events. Some years after that we had a Pace Arrow class A for several years and went on weekend trips mostly just the wife and I.
Sold that after several years due to work conflicts. Then we rented a Winnie View a couple times to attend the NASCAR race in Kansas.
So this past winter we found one of those too good to pass up deals on our class c Coachmen Leprechaun. It's a good unit and we really enjoy it.
It has been rock solid so far with only 30k miles.
But the idea of getting a new rig is being kicked around. We definetly want a outdoor kitchen as I do a little bbq catering and I tow my bbq smoker with the motor home.
So the Jayco Greyhawk 29ks in Mahogany Mist seems to be the one we are strongly considering.
Probably order in February for deliver in April. No sense in having a new rig set in storage with the warranty clock running.
Looking forward to be a part of the forum and a soon to be new Jayco owner.
